Magners is from Diddy's first litter by Ch. Brockfox Blackthorn.  He was the smallest born only weighing 5oz but he soon caught up with the others.

Age 6 weeks

He was run on with his brother Ross as we could not decide which one to keep till they were 15 weeks. Magners was able to get under our skin and eventually we decided to keep him and Ross went to a wonderful home with Alison Bowman.

 Magners started his show career in July 2007 at Paignton Championship Show where he qualified for Crufts.

He had a number of placings at Championship Shows, many Best of Breed, Best Puppy & Group placings at Open Shows & has done hugely well at hunt shows.

2009 has started well with Magners.  At his first show out at W.E.L.K.S. in April he won Post Graduate Dog under Mrs Siv Jernhake (Sweden).

Magners is a great companion and has the most wicked sense of humour, that why we call him the "Joker". 

He is a pleasure to live with and we would like to thank James & Michelle for letting us use Moss with Diddy to produce Magners.

Lara started training Magners in January 2008 when he was a year old.  He progressed very quickly and was ready to compete when he was just 18 months old (which is the minium age they can start competing).

Magners got his first clear round in July 08 at his 2nd ever show (compaired to Sweep took nearly a year to get a clear round).  His agility career is going from strength to strength, he got a 8th place in Grade 3 Agility at the KC International Festival in August 08, won out of Grade 3 in November 08 and has numerous 1st at UKA competitions.Magners is currently at Grade 5 at Kennel Club Shows and is Beginners in Steeplechase & Novice in Performance at UKA.

He has measured into Small at KC & Toy at UKA.

Hopefully this is the start of something special

Agility News

29th August 2009 - 3rd in the Dog Games Beginners Steeplechase Final.

9th August 2009 - Now gone Novice in the Performance for UKA.

19th July 2009 - Awarded Best Small 3-5 Combined Border Terrier at the Border Terrier Agility Show. 

11th July 2009 - Has now gained enough points for his Bronze Agility Warrant.

14th June 2009 - Has now gone Grade 5 with a 1st in Small 1-4 Combined Agility & 1st in Small 1-4 Combined Jumping.

23rd May 2009 - Qualified for the Dog Games Beginners Steeplechase Final 2009.
